ActivInspire is an easy-to-use software package designed to be adaptable to a teacher's experience, subject matter or teaching style. ActivInspire is a cross-platform software for interactive whiteboards, developed by teachers for teachers. It is designed for use across multiple operating platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux) and a range of interactive whiteboards.
ActivInspire is created for use in classrooms worldwide, from primary and elementary through to secondary, high school and higher education. The main feature of the software is to allow the user to prepare and present "flipcharts" to an audience.
After participating in our ActivInspire workshops teachers will be able to:
- Understand what an IWB can do and how activities can be enhanced through an IWB.
- Learn how ActivInspire works by taking a look at the key features in a step by step approach.
- Create flipchart content such as lines, shapes, rich text, images, video, flash media.
- Promote effective classroom practice in the use of IWB technologies.
